🗂️🇵🇦🇺🇸MLK FILES: PANAMANIAN INFORMS CIA OF PLOT TO ASSASSINATE MLK IN 1962

In 1962, Roderick Brown, a Panamanian, informed the CIA that an Alabama businessman, Marvin P. Littrell, approached him, describing Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as “our greatest problem” and offering him an unspecified job. 

Brown later believed this was connected to a plot to assassinate Dr. King but did not pursue the offer. He provided a detailed deposition to authorities only after Dr. King’s 1968 murder. 

Marvin P. Littrell, a car dealer, had given Brown his business card and encouraged him to make contact.
