It's one thing that grates my nerves when doomers are decrying the birth rate/fertility. 
*Most* of the decline is the decline of teen/college age pregnancy. If u pull out, fertility increased in older females (by a LOT), we had a mini baby boom in 00s and again in pandemic. These are all relatively positive things. looking at the old metric that measured 15-44 or measuring it over a century long period is going to make it look much more bleak than it truly is. Take the white pill.
