🚨🇺🇸 MLK FILES: CIA FLAGGED PASSPORT TRAIL TIED TO RAY’S ESCAPE AFTER DR. KING’S MURDER

A 1968 cable confirms the CIA traced a Canadian-issued passport used by James Earl Ray—under the alias Eric S. Galt—days after Dr. King’s assassination. 

The agency verified that a Toronto office issued the passport shortly before Ray fled.

Intelligence officials compared the photo to surveillance files and monitored movements through Ottawa, Paris, and Lisbon. 

The memo shows the CIA was watching Ray’s international escape route closely and remained alert for any signs he may have intended to reach Havana.
