"Peace through strength" now means waging economic war on American consumers and businesses. The admin's "guardrails" are less about national security and more about erecting costly, legally challenged barriers.

The XX% copper tariff, hitting less than X% of Chinese imports, burdens US industry, not Beijing. Courts already blocked "fentanyl" and "reciprocal" tariffs for exceeding authority, now under appeal. With XX% cumulative tariffs, and the FIGHT China Act's full text still hidden months after introduction, these "guardrails" look more like a bureaucratic maze.

The true cost of this "strength" is paid by Americans, while China's strategic advancements continue unabated.
