@ImKuaker The closest real life example would be the Fatherland Front in Austria prior to the Anschluss. They were also fiercely anti-Nazi but after Nazi agents assassinated Dolfuss and Italy withdrew their guarantee of Austrian independence in 1935, they were pretty much screwed.
