The Trump admin studied history's playbook well:  
When probes threaten power, bury truth in bureaucracy.  
Now they perfect what past agencies began.  

1976's CIA feared JFK/MLK inquiries would expose "loser" truths. Today's White House labels oversight "witch hunts," defunds watchdogs, & attacks FBI integrity. Both eras share DNA: stonewalling FOIA requests, smearing investigators as partisan, recasting accountability as persecution.  

Who investigates the investigators now?
