🚨🇺🇸MLK FILES: PENTAGON TOLD TO SAVE EVERYTHING - FROM CUBA TO KENNEDY

In May 1978, the Department of Defense ordered all branches to lock down files tied to the assassinations of MLK and JFK - including any documents even remotely related to U.S.-Cuban or Soviet-American relations from 1959 to 1969.

The memo warned records officers to block any destruction of intelligence or investigative files with even a “color of relationship” to either assassination.

The alert remained active through the end of the year, as Congress probed what the government knew and when it knew it.
