Comparing to Japan

12/25 Japan’s like a household with huge debt, over XXX% of their income (GDP). They borrow from relatives (domestic investors) at low rates, so it’s manageable for now. But with an aging population, they’re struggling, like a family with less income over time. The UK’s debt is lower (100% of GDP), but we’re heading that way.
