Unless they completely forget about Pokémon HOME connectivity, Pokémon can't release the classic main series games on the existing Nintendo Classics due to a simple reason: the apps support cloud saves, and that's a big no-no for Pokémon.

I can see them releasing a separate app just for Pokémon games on the 30th anniversary.
