Of course XX months from now all of this current data will be useless and there will be an entirely different dataset based on entirely different issues and an entirely different environment. Since THE RESISTANCE is dead. Its dead, Jim. And there is absolutely no signs of it being resurrected the chances of the dems making it a national anti trump election is slim and I would think they would want to make them local elections and that will depend on the economic conditions and quality of life in those local areas. Gop will probably want to make it a national election especially if Trump's favorable numbers stay as high as they are. Anyone trying to predict the results of midterms XX months out is basically just throwing at a dart board blindfolded at this point. That being said its a good time to start directing focus to primaries and off uear elections.
