Journey to the Burma Theatre

4/25 Deploying to Burma involved complex logistics. The brigade moved by sea from India to Ceylon (modern-day Sri Lanka) and then to Teknaf on the Arakan coast. Royal Navy minesweepers and landing craft crews ensured safe passage through mined waters, positioning the commandos for their amphibious landings in early 1945.
