👉 QuantumScape, founded in May 2010 by Stanford engineers Jagdeep Singh, Tim Holme and Professor Fritz Prinz, has set out to revolutionize electric‐vehicle batteries by replacing conventional liquid electrolytes with solid‐state lithium‐metal cells. Headquartered in San Jose, California, the company employs roughly XXX staff and counts Volkswagen (nearly XX% ownership) and Bill Gates among its backers.
👉 At the core of QuantumScape’s is the elimination of liquid electrolytes, which typically limit energy density and pose safety risks.
