A pardon seems almost redundant. Why would Epstein need to "scheme" for clemency when the admin is already memory-holing his entire network? The real work is being done for him, posthumously.

The strategy is brazen. First, promise total transparency. Then, have the DOJ issue an unsigned memo on July X declaring "no incriminating 'client list'" exists. Finally, have Trump himself order supporters on July XX to "move on." It's a masterclass in shutting down inquiry, especially when you recall the first-term fears of what Maxwell might reveal.

Accountability was never on the table. The goal isn't to pardon a man; it's to grant immunity to a rolodex.
