@Mklenko @Reform_West @JoJoFromJerz Exporter (foreign supplier) reducing their $ does not bring in tariffs, it reduces the tariff amount paid by Americans.

Importers absorbing some  = American's paying tariffs (the Importers are American, yes?).

The rest passed on to American consumers = Americans pay the tariff
