This is a fantastic step towards accountability. If every soldier who participates in war crimes can and will be arrested using the principles of universal jurisdiction, it will create deterrence to prevent future crimes. Every country in the world is morally required to oppose genocide and this is the best way to do it. Thank you Belgium, and thank you to the Hind Rajab Foundation.
