President Trump was “caught off guard" by Israel's bombing of Syria, White House said Monday, amid reports that U.S. president was increasingly concerned by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's aggressive military efforts.

Remarks came days after Israel struck Syria's military headquarters in Damascus & moved more troops to border in bid to prevent attacks against Syrian Druze community.
