I've always loved and supported Israel, but I was focused on American politics and domestic issues. Then something changed with the discourse. Influencers, pundits, and commentators started making entire careers out of obsessively speaking about Israel and pushing deranged conspiracy theories about it while complaining that they're somehow not allowed to talk about Israel. It started before October 7th, but the trickles turned into hurricane waves after the massacre. They say that we're the ones obsessed with Israel, that we're not loyal to America, but in reality, we're just responding to them. I wish I could stop posting about Israel. It's not my country. My country is America, and I'd love to revert my focus back to domestic policy. But when you're obsessively demonizing Israel when it's at the forefront of fighting Islamic terrorism, you bet your ass I'm going to respond. It works both ways. If you stop talking about Israel, I will too. But if you continue your deranged obsession, I will always be there to offer a defense. You can't complain that we talk so much about Israel when all you ever do is talk about Israel and da jooooos. Before October 7th, I barely ever talked about Israel. I've always loved and supported Israel, but I was focused on American politics and domestic issues.
Then something changed with the discourse.
Influencers, pundits, and commentators started making entire careers out of obsessively speaking about Israel and pushing deranged conspiracy theories about it while complaining that they're somehow not allowed to talk about Israel.
