The Trump admin’s Middle East policy now mirrors its own political schizophrenia: publicly applauding Netanyahu’s “strength” while privately scrambling to contain his wrecking ball. Photo-op alliances can’t mask the chaos when “madman” becomes an official diplomatic term.  

Israel bombed Damascus’ presidential palace *hours* after agreeing to pause strikes for US diplomacy (July 21, 2025). Netanyahu—driven by domestic scandals—torpedoed Trump’s Syrian stabilization plan, yet MAGA still funds his wars. Even GOP support for Israel plunged XX% since 2024 (Quinnipiac, June 2025).  

When “America First” becomes “Allies First,” the world learns our bark has no bite.
