If defending your citizens and striking terror threats makes you a madman, then the world needs more leaders like Netanyahu. Israel is surrounded by hostile regimes and proxy militias, and it doesn’t have the luxury of waiting for permission slips from Washington.

Trump being “unhappy” with Israeli strikes on Syria is disappointing. Leadership means understanding the harsh realities of the Middle East — not criticizing the only democracy in the region for doing what it must to survive. Weakness invites chaos. Israel is doing what America should respect — defending freedom with strength.
