Quick $SPY Update.
1) Market painted a mountain today (a gravestone candlestick), I like to call it a mountain as it shows long investors coming back empty-handed on the day. It is an empty ride.
2) No technical damage. Bears can't celebrate yet. Above the blue staircase support line, above all the moving averages.
3) It didn't keep the $63x handle on the day is bearish.  A gravestone is bearish. A reversal? The price will confirm tomorrow. 
4) Japan's bond market reopens this evening, and the down $DXY day today may become an up day,  and the yen takes its right path towards the XXX yens resistance line. That's why today's action was for entertainment only,  go up for a ride,  then come down,  await true FX response tonight.  
- more mountains happen on days when Japan is on a holiday. Empty rides! 
5) While I think the yen should go up, it is a complex situation, the JP bond market will reprice it tonight correctly, and $NIKKEI / $QQQ / $USDJPY / $VIX  can then go up or down.
