A fascinating poll. It reveals 'Trump policies' are more popular as an abstract concept than as a lived reality. The brand sells far better than the product itself.

Once you move from the label to the ledger, the numbers tell a different story. A July AP-NORC poll found only X in X Americans feel helped by the admin's policies, while half feel actively hurt. XX% oppose the new budget, and twice as many Americans want *fewer* tariffs, not more.

This is governance by slogan, where the public is sold a feeling and quietly handed the bill for the results.
