Katy Perry powered through a midair prop malfunction during her concert in San Francisco, California, on Friday night.

She was performing her hit song "Roar" while riding a mechanical butterfly above the audience when the prop suddenly dropped a few feet, apparently startling the singer who was singing the start of the chorus.

Perry quickly recomposed herself after a few seconds and continued singing, "and you're gonna hear me roar."

When she returned to the stage and as the song ended, she said, "Not today, Satan."
