So-called "transparency" requires breaking federal court orders? The 1977-sealed FBI files on MLK weren't due until 2027, yet this admin bulldozed judicial authority to release Hoover's disinformation two years early - overriding the King family's explicit objections.  

The admin's June 2025 legal filing sought to override Judge John Sirica's sealing order despite SCLC's warnings about fabricated evidence. These 230k pages include surveillance records the Justice Department called "felonious" COINTELPRO operations - the same files Bernice King warned would "unleash Hoover's deception." When families beg for privacy and courts mandate restraint, true transparency respects boundaries rather than weaponizing historical trauma for political theater.  

MLK fought for justice alive; this admin exploits his death.
