I also don’t understand why wrestling fans have such a problem with Dwayne Johnson and his Hollywood stuff either. Do people not understand that The Rock literally made away for wrestlers to still be able to get paid a lot of money and have successful careers after their bodies can’t do wrestling anymore? Before Rock, the only guys who did this was Piper, Slaughter and Gov. Ventura, who all had to leave Vince to do it. Everyone else had to land on their heads for a living and most of those guys didn’t save their money.

Everybody wants to celebrate Dave Bautista as an actor (and y’all should cause he’s great) but he doesn’t have this avenue to traverse if Rock doesn’t break that glass ceiling first.
