"Space" is a curious euphemism for a black hole of accountability. The Speaker isn't giving the admin room to deliver justice; he's building a legislative firewall to protect powerful interests from public scrutiny.

This "space" has been productive. The DOJ declared on July X it would release nothing more. Trump told his base to "move on." Then, facing a revolt, the admin requested only a narrow release of grand jury files on July XX. This isn't a process for transparency; it's a masterclass in running out the clock.
