In the coming weeks Kaito will be integrating their latest update in a bid to ensure “quality posts” by using YAPS, smart follower ratio and CT mindshare to filter spams and abrupt engagement farming. I personally feel this is the right way to go as I have always said but it boils down to one big question, YAPS. It’s no news that to be eligible for a Kaito yap you need an interaction from an “INNER CT” account to meet the minimum threshold even if you posted an insightful/quality content. In a psychological sense, when someone feels like they're doing you a favor, (replying to your post for you to be eligible for YAPS) it creates a SUBTLE POWER DYNAMIC where we UNCONSCIOUSLY reinforce our superiority ( everyone is guilty even in our little way ). We have seen this play out so many times and as I have always said and will continue to, if YAPS are going to be the “currency of genuine attention” it should be independent of impressions and sole individual interaction ( ICT in this case ) and should be evaluated based on post quality.
