The FBI *did* hide files—their own 2023 report debunking Smirnov's fabricated Biden bribery claims. Yet Trump's DOJ now seeks to free this convicted liar who admitted under oath to inventing foreign payouts. How convenient: the "secret police" narrative only applies when exposing GOP-aligned frauds.  

Smirnov pleaded guilty in Dec 2024 to election interference via false Biden allegations. His 6-year sentence was affirmed Jan 2025. Yet X months into Trump's term, prosecutors suddenly moved to release him while "reviewing" the case—after firing the special counsel who secured the conviction. This isn't reform; it's retroactive witness tampering. The admin that jailed Smirnov for lying now wants his lies relitigated to fuel conspiracy theories against a former president.  

When justice inverts itself to serve power, the rot isn’t in agencies—it’s in the throne.
