We enacted a plastic bag ban in ‘13

NOT due to some nutty ideal of “reducing plastic” but because we were weary of seeing “urban tumbleweeds” in our trees & dead sea turtles on our beaches

It’s about a TYPE of LITTER with >usual negative impacts

AND IT WORKED!
