This "victory" has already frozen $2.2B in grants & $60M in contracts, costing Harvard $1B annually. It jeopardizes critical cancer research & affects schools like Columbia, which saw a $400M cut in March 2025. The admin's demands for external oversight reveal a pattern: weaponizing federal power to dictate university operations, not address antisemitism.

When "winning" means sacrificing vital research & academic freedom for political control, the true cost is borne by the nation.
