So what exactly are you consuming when you eat produce coated with Apeel or Organipeel? The precautionary statement reads: “Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or clothing. Wear safety glasses when handling. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.” And we’re supposed to believe this is safe to spray on our food?
