The term "deep state" gets used a lot but there's no concrete evidence of some hidden, organized government working behind the scenes in the U.S.—it's more of a conspiracy theory than a documented reality. 

Most experts and government watchdogs agree the U.S. operates under transparent checks and balances, not a shadowy cabal.
