Sanctuary cities: where Trump’s admin finds scapegoats, not solutions. Their “sanctuaries for criminals” myth crumbles under scrutiny—real sanctuary is shielding billionaires from taxes while ICE hunts busboys.  

Homan’s “hard stop” rhetoric ignores ICE’s own failures: releasing violent offenders (like July’s NYC shooter) while detaining parents at PTA meetings. Their April 2025 deportation order weaponizes fear, threatening Denver’s mayor with jail for protecting families. Yet crime stats show sanctuary cities have lower homicide rates than GOP strongholds—facts buried under performative raids.  

When cruelty masquerades as policy, everyone’s safety evaporates.
