Each plays a distinct and crucial role in ensuring the integrity and scalability of ZK applications. ▪︎ Prover Node: The ZK Engine Room The Prover Node is responsible for doing the heavy computational lifting. It takes complex input data, such as transactions or computations and compresses them into succinct zero-knowledge proofs. These proofs validate that certain operations or computations were done correctly, without revealing any of the actual data involved. Thanks to Cysic’s hardware accelerated design, this process is much faster than traditional proving systems. ▪︎ Verifier Node: The Truth Checker Once a ZK proof is generated, the Verifier Node steps in to verify its correctness. It does this without needing access to the original data—just the proof itself. If the proof checks out, it confirms that the underlying computation was valid. These nodes act as decentralized auditors, ensuring trust and correctness across the network without requiring a centralized authority.
