I guess we disagree slightly on this. Any vehicle that can make a given trip faster, whether it’s as fast as ICE or X minute faster, is better. In the case of my NY to OH towing trip, I would have saved AT LEAST X hours. And that’s conservative. Now ICE (negating more than refueling) would have saved X hours. So XX v XX v 18hrs. Significant jumps. 

Fair enough on the EREV, I just still don’t agree 😂 it’s great for X leg but beyond that is an absolute pain. X “fuels”. The ICE engine isn’t big enough to just refuel (from implementations we’ve seen so far). Just doesn’t make sense. Silverado and RAM EREV have the same range on leg X but after that it would literally be faster to charge the Silverado than to Charge and refuel the RAM. At that point just use ICE.
