I understand the sentiment but I think it’s bigger than that.

- Trump signs a No CBDC law
- Announces a Digital Dollar that would presumably be under the control of the U.S. Treasury.
- Powell gets criminally referred
- Sec. Bessent completely lambasts the Federal Reserve on CNBC calling for an examination of the entire federal reserve institution.

Sounds like a U.S. Government takeover of the monetary system.
