Businessman Samuel Makokha Mugenyi has picked expression of interest forms to contest for the Busia Municipality seat in the 2026–31 general elections. #NTVNews

Makokha says he is stepping forward to represent the concerns of traders, who he says are burdened by high government taxes. He also pointed to the poor road network in Busia as a major issue he plans to address if elected.
