For those who don’t know — Tristan is a brilliant artist, texture painter, and concept designer in VFX for film, with clients like Marvel, DC, Sony, and Paramount. The secondary floor briefly touched XXXXX ETH before a wave of inexperienced minters — likely WL spots from raffles or collabs with projects that have a lower floor price than a gas station sandwich — started undercutting for no reason other than they have no clue what they’re doing. The NFT required to mint this had a XXX E floor and over XXX ETH in volume, but still we have people flipping for pizza money. They didn’t mint because they love the art — they minted to flip immediately, which is why the floor tanks unnecessarily. I’ve been seeing this way too much lately. @Tma_420 even called it out during the @bunya_eth mint, and I couldn’t agree more: Allocation is everything. If you let desperate flippers in just to fill your mint, you’re not just hurting your own art — you’re damaging the overall space and making it harder for artists to truly thrive in Web3 again. For what it’s worth — my team rejects XX% of the clients we meet. But if you’re a serious artist, your work has real potential, and you’re open to taking strategic advice — I’ll help you for free. Marketing support, WL allocation strategy — no fees, just conditions: The art has to be worthy. You have to be coachable. You can’t pander to flippers. We’ve got to stop letting short-term hands ruin long-term value — especially when the art is this good. Now if you’ll excuse me... time to sweep some more from these paper-handed fools.
