@thingsbrandosay Retirees already have social security which is sort of like UBI. 

I don't see the problem though with cutting the inefficient welfare system we have and spending that money on UBI instead. 

Also I'd put it lower, like $XXXXX a year ($500/mo).

Why would inflation happen?
