Verizon Communications $VZ (+5% today) delivered a strong performance in its Q2 earnings. 
The Essential XX ETF $ESN portfolio holding reported an adjusted EPS of $1.22, surpassing the consensus estimate of $1.19, and operating revenue of $34.5B, beating the expected $33.57B. 
Key highlights include a X% year-over-year increase in consumer revenue to $26.68B and a X% rise in wireless service revenue. They also added XXXXXXX wireless net additions, illuminating solid customer growth. Verizon raised its full-year guidance, projecting adjusted EBITDA growth of 2.5%–3.5% and free cash flow of $19.5B–$20.5B.
