Both Fabrizio and Sky Germany are reporting that RB Leipzig wants around €70m for Xavi Simons. That's a lot.

I rate the guy. I just don't see how he starts regularly in our best XI. €50m would've been perfect for a him as a potential rotational player.

Not against it, just the fee. If the fee is less than €50m, and Xavi is comfortable as a backup, then it's perfect. 

If we pay €70m and he comes and isn't comfortable with the minutes he's getting, how do we sell him and recover our money? That's my only issue with the deal.

Apart from that, he's an amazing player. Technically outstanding. He will give us a lot, especially against low blocks. For a reasonable fee, like €50m, I will say, "bring him in". €70m is just a lot.
