The Base App upgrade was the first stepping stone towards a unified and abstracted onchain experience..

- Every coinbase wallet is now a Venmo/cashapp equivalent for anyone around the world (direct crypto -> fiat in a few clicks, 200ms)
- Normies have direct access to crypto Twitter through the social feed
- Mini apps force "complex" platforms to simplify & normie-fy
- Wallets are identities/platforms, removes custody friction
