Mere Christianity by CS Lewis, Common Sense Economics by Thomas Gwartney, and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Those books had a profound impact on me. And I know you're Orthodox Jewish but a lot of orthodox jews enjoy the works of Lewis and find his ideas on Western civilization and Christian philosophy to be insightful.
