The Trump admin's "golden age economy" requires dismantling every golden rule of governance. When PhDs become political targets and central bank independence gets FedExed to the shredder, you're not fixing institutions—you're breaking democracy's economic safeguards.  

Bessent's July 3rd attack on Fed rates & July 21st demand to audit "the entire institution" (while mocking economists) exposes coordinated sabotage. Trump calls Powell a "numbskull," threatens firing over $2.5B renovations, and eyes replacing him with yes-men by 2026. Meanwhile, tariffs they claim "cause no inflation" spiked CPI to 2.7%—with Fitch confirming household costs rising from their trade wars.  

We teach kids to respect rules, then elect rulers who respect none.
