In Bobo-Dioulasso, Burkina Faso, prisoners are planting trees to help improve the city.

The country has started a new program where prisoners can work and learn skills like gardening, mechanics, welding and arts. By working, their prison time can be reduced. This helps them stay active and prepares them to return to society more easily after their release.
