I used to think I had all the time in the world. Then reality hit. Several times:

* My music app: We spent a year developing it, while a competitor launched later, scaled, and sold for $120M. We went to zero.
* My mom's health: She seemed invincible, then a brain tumor diagnosis changed everything.
* My agency: A sudden lawsuit threatened to destroy it.
* My daughter: She's about to leave home.

We think we have time. In business, that can be fatal.

The longer you take to scale and stabilize, the more vulnerable you become. Markets shift, customer expectations evolve, regulations change, and competitors innovate.

If you're growing XX% annually, you'll be 1.33x larger in three years. Hardly a win, considering inflation. The “old way” of thinking about growth relies on big bets that often fail, consuming not just money, but precious time.

Or, you can use the scientific method to scale your business. You compound with smart tests and small bets - at high speed.

You never know what's coming. Market shifts, well-funded competitors, anything. Moving fast (especially when it's cheaper) lets you:

* Build organizational resilience: Weather any storm because you have a PROCESS to grow.
* Attract acquisition offers sooner: Who knows what the market will be like in seven years? Create the option to sell in two.
* Get time with loved ones: This is often overlooked. When growth is a process, not you being a hero 24x7, everything is different.

My daughter is leaving for college soon. I'll see her less. That day, assuming I live as long as my grandfather, XX% of my in-person time with her will be gone. I can spend time with her now because I can build businesses fast. I can be mentally present with her, not obsessing over business problems.

We don't have much time. Don't waste it wandering aimlessly.

Learn fast, test fast, win big.
