🇺🇸BIG | US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has called on Europe to impose secondary tariffs against Russia if the United States passes its corresponding bill.

According to Bessent, the US "does not know what the timeframe will be, whether 10, 30, or XX days, but any country that buys Russian oil under sanctions will be subject to secondary tariffs of up to 100%."

"So now the US Senate agrees with President Trump that tariffs are a means to achieve political goals, and this is revolutionary. President Trump changed the conversation here. And I urge our European allies, who have talked about the big game, to follow us if we implement these secondary tariffs," Bessent said.
