Tekken X is in a great state. Just watch the tournaments, they’re competitive, hype, and full of close matches. The game is doing its job. What’s not doing its job is the community discourse. What’s poisoning the scene is this wave of negativity: hyperbolic language, bad takes based on misunderstanding the game, and content creators cashing in on outrage because it gets clicks. They push false narratives, and newer players, who haven’t tested things for themselves, start repeating them like gospel: •“Defense is dead” •“It’s just 50/50” •“It’s a party game” •“Weaknesses define characters” •“The devs don’t listen” All of that is false, and we know it’s false because the real-world data and tournament results contradict it. I’ve broken this down in detail. If you’re open-minded, check out the two videos I’ve linked below: breakdown of the Season X overreaction: debate with @RealMikeHollow where I explain exactly why Tekken X is still a great game: If you really want to “save Tekken,” start by helping shift the conversation away from doom-posting and toward constructive, balanced feedback. No one’s saying we can’t criticize, but the way this community does it? It doesn’t build, it breaks. XXXXX engagements [Post Link](https://x.com/ThayCallMeMonty/status/1947298369455743287)
