They are very different and won't work against every opponent. It has to be who suits who. I don't see Simons as a winger, unless he's playing narrow in the half space. He's a number XX kind of winger in a 3-4-3. His best position is attacking midfield, especially LCM. Gittens is just a different animal. A beast hugging the line and not so good in the half space.
