Kinda weird how they just announced it—like it’s no big deal.

33M tonnes of oil. XX billion cubic meters of gas. Biggest find in Poland’s history.

But here’s what slipped past most folks:
The reserve was first hinted at in a 2014 geological survey… that got quietly pulled a year later.

Some guy from Warsaw said they “weren’t ready for that kind of pressure” back then.
Not from Moscow. Not from Brussels either. (you didn’t hear that from me)

And now—out of nowhere—it’s all confirmed?

A guy I used to know in energy finance once told me: “When a find this big goes quiet, it’s not the oil they’re hiding—it’s who already knew it was there.”

Makes me wonder if someone sat on this for a reason.

Why do you think they waited a decade to say it out loud?
