The Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU), led by Secretary-General Davji Atella, his deputy Dennis Miskellah, and Chairman Abidan Mwachi, during a meeting with striking Kiambu doctors in Nairobi on July 21, 2025. The union has accused the Kiambu County Government of defying court orders and prolonging a crisis that has left public health services in the county paralysed for XX days.
